Milan, November 19, 2010 - "The Commission for the Civic Award of Merit decided unanimously names that will be awarded in recognition of the solemn ceremony of Saint Ambrose on December 7. "
This was announced by the President of the Commission and City Council Manfredi Palmeri, stating that "it's three gold medals at the memory, a Great Gold Medal, 30 Gold Medals, 40 Certificates of Civic merit. "
"We achieved the best possible synthesis between the 179 applications received - said Manfredi Palmeri - trying to express and enhance all our Milan, which is a city with many faces."

Chiederemo al Sindaco, infine, di consegnare l’Ambrogino d’Oro al caporale Guido Laveneziana che, con il suo coraggioso e tempestivo intervento, impedì una strage il giorno dell’attentato alla Caserma Santa Barbara, il 12 ottobre del 2009”.
