When we refer to know how we tend to think of it as a unique object, even though we know that we have to be able to develop and update over time.
Instead, there are at least two types of expertise , both worthy of attention and update: professional know-how and managerial know-how .

So the professional know-how what we can do "good " our work ensuring customer satisfaction and managerial know-how is what allows us to find the client or to manage, for example, to accounting matters. In other words
know how professional is the reason why a customer uses our expertise and we trust a job, while managerial know-how is what allows us to attract his attention and to manage the relationship and then to find work. Normally
who is engaged in the know-how is very focused on their professional expertise, while not always devotes attention to develop their managerial skills which are those that, in most cases, allow him to acquire and manage the customer.
